Las Vegas Tournament Yields Semi-Final Appearance
The team traveled to Las Vegas over the Presidents' Day weekend to compete in the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup. The first game was a tight battle with Impact United White and ended in a 1-1 tie. The team followed this game with a convincing win over Golden Valley Phoenix Firebirds by a score of 3-0. The final game ended in defeat to El Dorado United Eclipse by a 0-3 score.

The team performed well enough to advance to a semi-final game, where it competed against Neusport FC 92 Green, the defending Nevada state champs. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, which prompted a shoot out to determine the winner. Carmel sent a total of 10 shooters to face the goalie before finally coming up one goal short. The team, nonetheless, was pleased with its performance at the tournament.




Shutouts Lead to Orange Classic Championship Game - December 2007
CUSC U16 Girls Premier shut out all teams in its bracket to advance to the semi-final game at the Orange Classic in Ft. Lauderdale December 27-30.

Carmel defeated FC Carolina Alliance (North Carolina) by a score of 2-0. The team then defeated Coral Springs Renegades (Florida) 1-0. The final opponent, Miami Lakes SC (Florida), was defeated 2-0.

Carmel faced Sachems FC (Massachusetts) in the semi-final game. A 0-0 tie in regulation led to a shoot-out, won by Carmel. In the championship game, the team lost a close contest, 1-0, to Lonestar '92 White (Texas).




4 Shutouts Lead to Tiger College Showcase Championship - March 2007
CUSC U15 Girls Premier won the inaugural Tiger Showcase at the Auburn Soccer Complex in Auburn, Alabama March 3-4. The team won a combined U15 and U16 bracket and despite only having played outdoors on one other occasion this season, the girls worked as a cohesive unit and showed determination, teamwork and passion to beat Northwest Florida Soccer U15 Force (1-0), Pensacola Football Club U15 Lady Wolves (3-0), U16 Florida Dragons (1-0) and Panama City U16 Rage (3-0).

The team scored a total of 8 goals in the event and recorded 4 shutouts to win the title.
